acosh

Inverse hyperbolic cosine in radians

acosh(A)

  • A should be an array, which can be complex or real.
  • It returns an array containing inverse hyperbolic cosine (in radians) of each element of A.
  • The output has the same size as A.

Example 1: Plotting arc cosine.

x=linspace(1,100);
y=acosh(x);
plot(x,y,'.-');
xlabel('x')
ylabel('acosh(x) in radians')
Plot is generated.
