acos

Inverse cosine in radians

acos(A)

  • A should be an array, which can be real or complex.
  • It returns an array containing inverse cosine (in radians) of each element of A.
  • The output has the same size as A.

Example 1: Plotting arc cosine.

x=linspace(-1,1);
y=acos(x);
plot(x,y,'.-');
xlabel('x')
ylabel('acos(x)')
Plot is generated.
